Did you know North Canoe Elementary is under threat of closure at the end of the current school year? The decision is scheduled to be made by the beginning of November. We are collecting information and petitioning to fight to keep our school open.

The list of school closures for our area will be made by the Board of School Trustees in early November 2009. The results will be school closures at the end of the current school year. We are taking action NOW, and we need your help. The most powerful tool to influence this decision is personal letters, specifically to individuals on the Board of School Trustees. Also very helpful would be letters to politicians including: The Mayor, our local MLA, and the Premier. Please write one letter, more if you can.
